If SayIt was launched from an executable (.exe) file instead of with Java Web Start, the instructions on this page are not applicable.
When you have problems launching the SayIt client, one of the first things you can try that may resolve your issue is to clear Java cache. If the problem persists you can turn on Java logging that may help to capture information about the problem you are having.

Enable Java Logging Manually (Mac)

Java logging is used when a user is having issues BEFORE logging in to SayIt (e.g. trouble launching SayIt.)

  1. Click on Apple icon at the top-left of the screen.
  2. Select System Preferences from the menu.
  3. In the System Preferences window, click on Java icon (coffee mug, shown right).
The Java Control Panel opens in a separate window.
  4. On the Java Control Panel window, click the Advanced tab.
  5. Put a checkmark beside Enable tracing and Enable logging
  6. Click the Apply button.
  7. Click the OK button.
  8. Reproduce the issue.
  9. Send an email to support@nvoq.com BEING SURE TO INCLUDE all files in ~/Library/Application Support/Oracle/Java/Deployment/log
  • Logs are located in ~/Library/Application Support/Oracle/Java/Deployment/log
    • Open Spotlight (magnifying glass icon near top-right corner)
    • Copy and paste this into the search field: ~/Library/Application Support/Oracle/Java/Deployment/log
