Accuracy - General

  • Dictionary Cleanup- Cleanup work of the dictionary continues.  This effort involves removing nonsensical words as well as improving phonetic representations of existing words. (B-16277, B-16442)
  • New drugs/devices- Support for new drugs and medical devices (from FDA) from November and December 2021 has been added to the dictionary along with corpus support for these terms. (B-16269, B-16430)
  • General topics' improvement -  Corrected transcripts from select dictations from November and December 2021 have been added to the appropriate topic's corpus. New words found in these corrections have also been added to the dictionary. (B-16268, B-16429) 

Accuracy - General Medicine

  • Adductor(s) - Removed entries in the dictionary that were causing "adductor" and "adductors" to return as "abductor" or "abductors." (D-12877)
  • Hundred - Fixed cases where "a hundred" and "a hundred and <number>" were not returning in numerical format. "A hundered" is now returning as "100" and for example "a hundred and four" as "104." (B-16422) 

Accuracy - Pathology

  • Headers - Added support for the following headers: Source, Procedure, Diagnosis, CPT, Comment, Gross. These headers must be followed by a NATO alphabet and the word "colon" for them to be transcribed in the format  "<HEADER IN CAPS> [A-Z]:"  For example "SOURCE A:" (B-16415)
