Are WebSocket connection errors expected?
Yes — and they’re usually brief and well-contained. Throughout the day, our infrastructure is adjusting to changing demand or being updated for improved performance. As part of this process, and due to occasional internet networking errors, some temporary connection issues can occur. These are typically short-lived.
Are connections rerouted?
New connections aren’t rerouted at the application level, but the system is designed for resilience: clients that retry after receiving a “server busy” response, or failing to connect to a server at all, are typically connected to a healthy server on the next attempt. In short, while a small number of WebSocket errors can occur during normal operation, our infrastructure is designed to handle them gracefully and recover quickly — ensuring a smooth and stable experience for the vast majority of users.
