NEW FEATURES IN THE 11.0 RELEASE

New Features in SayIt:
---------------------
Summary of New Features in SayIt:

Reset your Own Password or Retrieve your Own Username from SayIt - If you have forgotten your username or password, you can now retrieve them from a link on the voice client Sign In screen.

Popup Shortcut Menu is Resizable - You can now change the size of the Popup shortcut menu.

Record a Vocabulary Pronunciation (Enhanced Dictation Users) - Users assigned to the speaker-independent Enhanced dictation engine can now record a pronunciation for a vocabulary term.

New Account Notification Messages - Account Notifications messages are configured in SayIt Administrator and appear to SayIt users in a popup window.

Update Required Messages - With the 11.0 release we now keep track of the version of the SayIt voice client that is running on a user's computer. Starting with the next release, if a new version of SayIt that is deemed to be incompatible with an older version is updated on a system, any users who are currently logged in to SayIt will receive a message.

Select and Say Allows Change of Paste Location - Some of you may have discovered that in some instances Select and Say would no longer paste text where you placed your cursor before you pasted the text. This is now working as it did previously: instead of having to place your cursor before you open Select and Say, you can once again place your cursor where you want your text to go just before clicking the green checkmark/accepting the dictation.

FEATURES REMOVED FROM THE 11.0 RELEASE
-------------------------------------
SayIt:

Multi-Word Vocabulary Terms No Longer Return Separate Words (Enhanced Dictation Engine) - In order to build the sentence modeling feature for the Enhanced dictation engine, it was necessary to "tokenize" vocabulary terms. This means that a multi-word vocabulary term (such as "nVoq Support Center") will no longer return the single words in the term (i.e. "nVoq") unless that word is also included in the topic or as a separate word in the vocabulary.

SayIt Administrator:

Sentence Model Upload No Longer Adds New Vocabulary Automatically - Due to many typos and misspelled words being added into the Vocabulary through this process in the past, the system no longer looks for "unknown words" and automatically adds them to Vocabulary. Instead, unknown words in sentence model documents will be ignored by the dictation server. But you can download a list of unknown words from a sentence model and add them to the vocabulary manually.  Note: Inactive sentence model documents in the system prior to 11.0 will be DELETED.

Phonemes Column Removed from Vocabulary Page - The Phonemes column on the Vocabulary page in SayIt Administrator has been removed. New phonemes can no longer be entered for new vocabulary terms for the Standard dictation engine. Previously added phonemes (prior to 11.0) will still be in the system, but will no longer be visible. Users can still record a pronunciation in SayIt for Account vocabulary terms, but there is no longer any way to enter a pronunciation for Organization vocabulary for the Standard dictation engine.

Multi-Word Vocabulary Terms No Longer Return Separate Words (Enhanced Dictation Engine) - In order to build the sentence modeling feature for the Enhanced dictation engine, it was necessary to "tokenize" vocabulary terms. This means that a multi-word vocabulary term (such as "nVoq SayIt GUI") will no longer return the single words in the term (like "nVoq") unless that word is also included in the topic or as a separate word in the vocabulary.

Ability to Copy Shortcut Folders Removed - You can no longer copy shortcut folders.

Inactive Sentence Model Documents Can No Longer Be Stored in SayIt Admin - Sentence model documents can no longer be "deactivated" on the Sentence Model page. Instead, they must simply be removed. Since inactive documents can no longer be stored in the system, the Applied and

Applied Date columns have been removed from the Sentence Model page.

System Notification Page is Gone - With the 11.0, the System Notification page (which was available to SYSTEM-level administrators only) is no longer available. Use the new and improved Account Notification instead.
