Article Summary

15.1 nVoq Dictation, SayIt, SayIt Administrator, nVoq.Administrator, Shortcut Designer, and nVoq APIs Release
August 2020

nVoq Dictation

The updates in this section impact all dictation clients, including SayIt and nVoq.Mobile Voice as well as ISV partner clients using nVoq dictation.
  • Segment Boundary Speed - A bug in handling the boundary request message was found and fixed which results in less time to wait for the server to finalize a segment. (B-15312, 1/16/2020)
  • Dictation Speed Improvements -  Incremental improvements were made on the dictation server to increase the speed of dictation text processing and formatting so that finalized text is returned faster after the user is done recording audio. This will be most noticeable on long dictations. (B-15012, 1/22/2020)
  • Direct Text Speed Improvements - Changes were made to allow Direct Text (STABLETEXT) dictation transcripts to display faster. (B-15299, 2/5/2020)
  • Incomplete Word Markers for HTTP Dictations - Word markers were not being returned in full for longer HTTP dictations sent via either real-time or batch processing.  This has been fixed in 15.1. (D-11907, 2/25/2020)
  • Faster Direct Text Transcripts that Include "Period" - Direct Text dictations now return "period" (either the word or the punctuation) faster so the transcript is returned faster to the user. The changes implemented are likely to have the most impact for users who pause during the dictation to see "period" return in the transcript. (B-15491, 3/26/2020)

SayIt and AgentAssist

New Features & Improvements in SayIt/AgentAssist

  • N/A

Bug Fixes in SayIt/AgentAssist

  • Startup Triggers Not Working When Version 2 HTML Shortcuts Enabled - If "Version 2" HTML shortcuts (that run on Electron) are enabled for a user account, startup triggers would not work. This has been fixed in 15.1. (D-11884, 2/25/2020)
  • Admin User Not Disabled When Group Disabled - Client access would not be disabled when the group was disabled for an account with both client access and an administrator role with access higher than group level. The user would still be able to log in an use the SayIt client. This has been fixed in 15.1. Now in the client access will appropriately be disabled for the account when the group is disabled, and the account will still have administrator access. (D-12001, 4/28/2020)

Features Removed from SayIt/AgentAssist

SayIt Administrator

New Features & Improvements in SayIt Administrator

  • Version 2 HTML Shortcuts Now Default for Customer Care - The "Version 2" HTML Shortcuts that run on the Electron framework is now the default setting for new accounts created in a Customer Care tenant type. The original type of HTML shortcuts, which open in a CEF browser, will still be available and there will be no automatic migration to move existing users to use the Version 2 shortcuts. There is no change for accounts created in Healthcare tenant types, for which "No HTML Shortcuts" is the default setting.  The HTML Shortcut setting is on the Add/Edit Accounts page. (B-15346, 1/21/2020)
  • API Key Format Now More Secure - The format of the API key has been updated in 15.1 to use the organization UUID. This new format applies to all newly generated API keys. Both legacy and new format API keys work, and the roles for API key usage have not changed. (B-15325, 2/18/2020)
  • Billing Properties Remain After Account Delete - As part of work being done to improve the Subscription Management report, account billing information at the time of an account or organization deletion will no longer be removed. (B-15356, 2/24/2020)
  • Subscription Management Report Now Using Historical Account Billing Data -The billing status for accounts on the report is enhanced. New accounts (or changes to the billing status of existing accounts) are now tracked in a historical data store, and the Subscription Management report now uses the historical data to retrieve account billing status for the account state based on the date and times selected on the Date Range picker. (B-15453, 4/7/2020)
  • Starting Billable Date Off by One in Subscription Management Report - The date that a billable account appears on the Billable Users report at the beginning of the month was off by one. Accounts that had a trial end on 03/31 did not appear as billable on the report on 04/01, but did on 04/02. This was only an issue with the Subscription Management report in SayIt Administrator; all of the information in the actual billing management system was correct on 04/01. The Subscription Management report has been fixed in 15.1. (D-11983, 4/9/2020)

Bug Fixes in SayIt Administrator

  • Removing Vocabulary Fails Due to Bad Sentence Model Document - If an account has one vocabulary term and a sentence model document that includes only unknown words (and no carriage returns), and you then try to delete a vocabulary term from the account, the deletion fails because system tries to build a profile with zero words. In 15.1, the profile will be reset in this situation and a WARN message is logged on the EDS. (D-11833, 1/16/2020)
  • Admin-Only Accounts Listed on Billable Users Subscription Management Report - If an account with BOTH client access and admin access (originally created as billable) is changed to only have admin access, that account still displays when "Billable Users" is selected on the Include menu on the Subscription Management report. The account is listed with a "1" in the Non-Billable column, however. The work-around is to select the "Non-billable" checkbox for the account on the Accounts page. This does not occur if the account was originally created as an admin-only account. This issue has been fixed in 15.1. (D-11877, 2/19/2020)
  • Error Presented When Attempting to Add Vocabulary - While attempting to add vocabulary an error presented stating that the system encountered an error trying to add base vocabularies. This seems to have occurred occasionally due to the system creating duplicate profile artifacts after moving accounts to a different group. It has been fixed in 15.1. (D-11969, 4/10/2020)
  • SayIt Administrator Hangs When Deleting Organization - An attempt to delete an organization that included a disabled account that has Admin Access of "Customer Administrator" as well as Client Access would cause SayIt Administrator to hang and the organization would not appear deleted. The work-around was to delete the account with administrator access before attempting to delete the organization. This has been fixed in 15.1 for both SayIt Administrator and nVoq.Administrator. (D-11994, 4/14/2020)
  • Deleting Group Deletes Account in Group with Higher Level Admin Access - If an account has Client Access in a group organization and Admin Access to a higher level organization, the account is deleted if the group is deleted, despite the Admin Access. This has been fixed in 15.1for both SayIt Administrator and nVoq.Administrator. (D-11996, 4/16/2020)
  • Ability to Delete Themes in Use - SayIt Administrator allowed administrators to delete a theme that was associated with an existing company organization. This resulted in problems when running SayIt, including the wrong logo and colors and the Microphone Setup Wizard would not launch automatically. If the MSW was manually launched from the Options menu, the dictation and voice shortcut buttons on SayIt were grayed out, and the user could not create shortcuts. In 15.1 if you try to delete a theme that is in use you will receive an error message. (D-12044, 5/5/2020)
  • Time Stamp Incorrect on Subscription Management Report - Scheduled billing property changes on accounts (like a trial period ending, or an Enabled Through date disabling an account) were completed when a nightly job ran on the server at 11pm Mountain Time. The time that this job ran was connected to the state of accounts (billable vs. trial, enabled vs. disabled) on the Subscription Management report. So for example the report could show someone as "billable" at 11:45pm on the last night they should still be in a "trial" period. This has been fixed. The billing state of an account that is scheduled to change on a certain day will now show the correct billing state for the entire day. (D-11999)

Features Removed from SayIt Administrator

nVoq.Administrator

nVoq.Administrator is available on our test system as https://test.nvoq.com/admin/signin

New Features & Improvements in nVoq.Administrator

  • Back-End Code Updated to Use ID - The code for pages in nVoq.Administrator were updated to use "ID" for entity IDs instead of "UUID", "Identifier", or "user_id" per changes that were made to APIs in the previous release to increase consistency. (B-15367, 1/16/2020)
  • Sidebar and Organization Menu States Remembered - The sidebar menu on the left side of the screen can be opened to navigate to pages and then closed to allow more room on the screen to view pages and do your work. The state of that menu (open or closed) will now be remembered after logout or session timeout as a user property. The level of the Organization menu at the top of the page will also be remembered after a session timeout or logout. So if you navigate to a group organization and then your session times out, the group will still be selected in that menu when you log back in. (B-15182, 1/17/2020)
  • Version 2 HTML Shortcuts Now Default for Customer Care - The "Version 2" HTML Shortcuts that run on the Electron framework is now the default setting for new accounts created in a Customer Care tenant type. The original type of HTML shortcuts, which open in a Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) browser, will still be available and there will be no automatic migration to move existing users to use the Version 2 shortcuts. There is no change for accounts created in Healthcare tenant types, for which "No HTML Shortcuts" is the default setting. The HTML Shortcut setting is on the Add/Edit Accounts page. (B-15346, 1/21/2020)
  • Copy Substitutions - You can now copy substitutions from one organization or account to another organization or account. There is a change from SayIt Administrator when copying multiple substitutions at once: In nVoq.Administrator, if any of the substitutions already exists in the target location to which you are copying, NONEof the substitutions will be copied to the target location. In SayIt Administrator, any that did not already exist in the target location would still be copied. (B-14555, 1/27/2020)
  • Clone Organizations - You can now clone an existing company, division, or group level organization to make a new organization in the same tenant with the same settings, vocabulary, substitutions, sentence models, shortcuts, and shortcut folders that existed in the original organization at the original organization level. In nVoq.Administrator ALL shortcuts and substitutions are copied from the original organization to the cloned organization whether or not they are enabled, and they are cloned to be in the same status (enabled or disabled) in the cloned organization that they were in the original organization. This is different from SayIt Administrator where only the items that are active (enabled) in the source organization are copied to the cloned organization. Another difference from SayIt Administrator is that there is no cloning of organizations between tenants in nVoq.Administrator. (B-14972, 1/29/2020)System Administrators Update Settings and Change Password - System-level account types "System Administrator" and "Customer Administrator" are now prompted to change their password and configure time zone and session time out settings when logging into nVoq.Administrator the first time. These users can also make these changes from the Account icon at the top right of the screen. Note that the system-level "Read Only" administrator access does not exist in nVoq.Administrator. (B-15341, 1/29/2020)
  • Upload Sentence Models - You can now upload your own sentence model document in nVoq.Administrator. User profiles are updated with the new sentence models asynchronously so users can continue using dictation while sentence models are being added. This is different from SayIt Administrator. (B-15331, 2/4/2020)
  • View, Download, and Delete Sentence Models - You can now view, download sentence model documents, download the list of sentence models, and delete sentence models for organizations and accounts on the Sentence Models page in nVoq.Administrator. There are a couple of differences between nVoq.Administrator and SayIt Administrator when deleting sentence models. The first is that in SayIt Administrator, sentence model documents are removed from user profiles immediately. In nVoq.Administrator this happens asynchronously, which allows the user to still dictate while it happens in the background. The second difference is that in SayIt Administrator you must navigate to the specific organization level where a document was added in order to delete it. In nVoq.Administrator you can delete any sentence model that is visible on the page as long as you have the ability to make changes for the organization level at which it was added. (B-15329, 2/5/2020)
  • Apply Sentence Models from Corrected Text to Organizations - User transcripts that have been corrected and saved on the Review & Correct page and automatically applied to user accounts as sentence modeling can now be collected and applied to all users in an organization on the Sentence Models page. (B-15332, 2/11/2020)
  • Faster Substitution Retrieval - Pulling a list of substitutions in organizations with a lot of them is now faster. Retrieving substitutions in an organization than has around 3,000 substitutions will now only take around two seconds, as opposed to the 20 seconds it was taking before. (B-14552, 2/14/2020)
  • Find Unknown Vocabulary in Sentence Models - You can now search group or account level sentence model documents for unknown vocabulary that should be recognized during dictation using the Find Unknown Vocabulary feature. The organization menu at the top of the page does not have to be at the level at which a sentence model was uploaded in order to search a document for unknown words, which is a change from SayIt Administrator. However, if you do select a group from the organization menu, you can then select multiple sentence model documents to be scanned for unknown vocabulary simultaneously. (You cannot do this unless a group is selected on the organization menu.) (B-15380, 2/19/2020)
  • Unsaved Shortcut Edits Persist Through Refresh/Timeout - Shortcut any edits made without saving will now persist through a browser refresh and session timeout, meaning that the edit shortcut view is in the same state as prior to refresh/session timeout event, with Save button enabled. So if you accidentally refresh your web browser or your session times out in the middle of something you're working on, you won't lose your changes. Shortcut changes that are not saved when a browser tab is closed can be restored by restoring the closed tab within the browser (e.g., alt-shift-T in Chrome), and if the browser crashes unexpectedly you can restore the Shortcuts page including unsaved changes by asking the browser to restore the tab. (B-15186, 2/20/2020)
  • Delete from Any Organization Level You Can View on a Page - You can now delete shortcuts, vocabulary, substitutions, and sentence models at any organization level you are viewing, as long as you have the ability to edit the level. For example, you can select a company level organization from the organizations menu at the top of the page and then delete vocabulary (or shortcuts, substitutions, or sentence models) from that level and any division or group below it all at the same time. This is different from SayIt Administrator, where you had to navigate to the organization level at which the item was added in order to delete it from that level. (B-15361, 2/20/2020)
  • Client Logging Functionality - The Logging page has been added to nVoq.Administrator where you can enable or disable SayIt or AgentAssist client logging, request a client log for a logged-in user, and view, download, and delete client logs that have been collected for a user. One thing that is different in nVoq.Administrator vs. SayIt Administrator is that Read-Only administrators can download log files, which they cannot do in SayIt Administrator. (B-15424, B-15426, B-14660, 2/21/2020)
  • Upload and Download Shortcut Folders - Shortcut folders are now included in CSV files that are exported from nVoq.Administrator, and you can also upload shortcut folders as well. The format has changed for uploading and downloading folders, and as a result you CANNOT upload a shortcut/folder file in SayIt Administrator that was downloaded from nVoq.Administrator. (You can upload a shortcut/folder file in nVoq.Administrator that was downloaded from SayIt Administrator.) You can either download all shortcuts and folders for a selected account or organization, or select specific shortcuts and/or folders that you want to download. In nVoq.Administrator, you cannot add shortcuts to an existing folder via the spreadsheet, and you cannot create a new folder with the same name as any other folder in the organization hierarchy. (B-15314, 3/13/2020)
  • Copy Shortcuts - nVoq.Administrator now includes the ability to copy shortcuts from an organization or user account to another organization or user account. This replaces the "Duplicate" functionality, which no longer exists in nVoq.Administrator. If a shortcut with the same name already exists in the target location to which you are copying, the copied shortcut will have "COPY 1" appended to the name except in the following circumstances:  If a READ ONLY administrator or a CLIENT ONLY user copies an organization shortcut, the shortcut is created as an account shortcut in the user's own account with the same name and does not have "COPY 1" added to the name as long as there is not another shortcut in that account with the same name already. The newly created user shortcut (created from the copy) replaces the original organization shortcut in the user's account shortcut list and in SayIt/AgentAssist. If the copied shortcut is RENAMED to something different from the original organization shortcut, the user will once again have both shortcuts in the shortcut list and in SayIt/AgentAssist.  (B-15219, 3/19/2020)
  • Faster Account List Retrieval - Work has been done to speed up the listing of accounts on the Accounts page. (B-15512, 3/30/2020
  • Increased Max. Number of Items Returned in List View - The maximum number of rows that are returned when scrolling through items in a list view (like Accounts, Shortcuts, Substitutions, Vocabulary, or Review & Correct) has increased from 3,000 to 10,000. (D-11934, 4/3/2020)
  • Account Monitor Shortcuts Report - The Account Monitor Shortcuts report is now available on the Reports page in nVoq.Administrator. This report shows the number of times shortcuts were run by a user during a selected time period. In nVoq.Administrator you cannot click on a shortcut name to view the written form of the shortcut in a tool tip as you can on this report in SayIt Administrator. (B-15489, 4/3/2020)
  • Checkbox Changed to Toggle on Accounts and Organizations Pages - On the pages for adding, editing, and uploading accounts the Enabled, Client Access, and Non-Billable settings have changed from a checkbox to a toggle in order to be consistent with on/off settings in other areas of nVoq.Administrator. The same is true for the Enabled setting on the pages for adding or editing organizations, as well as multiple password settings on the add/edit division page. (B-15529, 4/6/2020)
  • Plus Symbol in No Organization Here Message Now Clickable - When you navigate to a company or division organization that has no child organizations below it a message is displayed that says, "No organization here. To add an organization click the + above."  In addition to clicking the new icon (+) in the blue bar at the top of the page, you can now also click on the plus symbol in the message itself to create a new child organization. (B-15533, 4/6/2020)
  • Larger Text Areas - Text areas on the Accounts page (Comments field), Organizations page (group Triggers fields), Review & Correct pages (Original and Corrected text areas), and Substitutions page (Written, Spoken, and Description fields) are all taller and wider and allow for more text to be seen at once. (B-15532, 4/6/2020)
  • Faster Load Time and New Progress Spinner for Dictation Detail - On the Review & Correct page it can take several seconds to display dictation information (transcript, submit time, and audio level) on the Detail screen if the transcript contains hundreds of words. The same is true when pressing the "Clear" or "Poor Quality" button for longer transcripts. In 15.1, dictation information on the Detail screen will load faster for dictations of a few hundred words, and a progress spinner has been added to let the administrator know that information is loading. (D-11970, 4/13/2020)
  • Organization Monitor Shortcuts Report - The Organization Monitor Shortcuts report is now available on the Reports page in nVoq.Administrator. This report the number of times organization shortcuts were used by users in the selected organization during the specified time period. These statistics combine voice and popup shortcut usage. In nVoq.Administrator you cannot click on a shortcut name to view the written form of the shortcut in a tool tip as you can on this report in SayIt Administrator. (B-15458, 4/14/2020)
  • nVoq.Administrator Uses Updated ID Naming Convention in API - In the 15.0 release our APIs were updated to increase consistency in the use of names for entity IDs instead of using several different terms. In 15.1 nVoq.Administrator has been updated to use "id" instead of "quickNoteId" in the shortcut APIs that it uses. (B-15313, 4/23/2020)
  • Enable/Disable Shortcuts at Different Organization Levels - Use the Change Enabled feature to change the enabled status of shortcuts for an organization. Shortcuts enabled or disabled at higher organization levels will set that enabled status for all child organizations below it. If you enable a previously disabled shortcut at a lower organization level, the shortcut will also be enabled in the parent organizations above it. This is different from SayIt Administrator. For example, if a shortcut was disabled at the division level and then enabled for a group below that division, it is automatically also enabled for the division. (B-15221, 4/28/2020)

Bug Fixes in nVoq.Administrator

  • Read-Only Admin Unable to View Shortcut Folder - An administrator with a Read-Only Admin Role and no Client Access is unable to open and view shortcut folders. When clicking on the View link in the Actions menu next to a folder, nothing happens. This has been fixed. (D-11786, 1/16/2020)
  • Dropping HTML Components into Name and Description Fields - On the Shortcuts page, HTML design and output components can be be dropped into the Name and Description text fields, and then you have to manually delete all of the text from those components out of those fields. This has been fixed. In 15.1 you can no longer drop these components into these fields. (D-11635, 1/16/2020)
  • Save Button Remains Disabled when Adding a Deleted Alternative Name for Shortcut - On the Shortcuts page, if you remove a shortcut's Alternative Name and save the shortcut, but then go back and add the same Alternative Name, the Save button does not become enabled (effectively cannot Save the changes just made). As a work-around, you can navigate to the shortcut list then re-open the shortcut and add the Alternative Name. This has been fixed in 15.1. The save button will now be enabled and the shortcut can be successfully saved. (D-11391, 1/16/2020)
  • "Cancel" Button Changed to "Close" in Review & Correct Detail - The "Cancel" button on the Shortcuts pages to was changed to say "Close" on the Edit Shortcut and Edit Folder pages so that users understood that their changes would still be saved and not dropped. For consistency, we have now done the same thing for the Review & Correct Detail screen. (D-11817, 1/16/2020)
  • "Active" Changed to "Enabled " on Shortcut Options Tab - The shortcut list view includes a column called "Enabled" to show whether or not a shortcut is available to use in the SayIt/AgentAssist client. However, on the Options tab of the shortcut that setting was called "Active". The setting on the Options tab was updated to be consistent with the shortcuts list view and the rest of nVoq.Administrator pages. (D-11784, 1/16/2020)
  • "Add" Button Changed to "Add Another" on Shortcut Options Tab - The Options tab of Add/Edit Shortcut page includes a button tabled "Add" that allows you to add an Alternative Name for the shortcut. On other pages in nVoq.Administrator buttons like this are labeled "Add Another". The button on the Options tab was updated to be consistent with the rest of nVoq.Administrator pages. (D-11784, 1/16/2020)
  • Incorrect Message with Substitution Upload Attempt - If there are no viable substitutions in a .csv file the error message should say, “Nothing in the file survived validation” but instead it says, “File issues, these substitutions will be skipped,” which is confusing. This has been fixed and now gives the correct "nothing survived" message when no items in the file can be added. (D-11846, 1/17/2020)
  • "Yes" Not working in Enabled Column for Substitution Upload - When uploading a .csv file of substitutions you should be able to enter "Yes" or "True" in the Enabled column in order to upload the substitutions as active/enabled. Instead, only the word "True" (or leaving the column blank) could be entered, otherwise the substitutions were added as disabled on upload. This was inconsistent with the way upload works on other pages in nVoq.Administrator, as well as with a substitution file that is downloaded from nVoq.Adminsitrator, which lists "Yes" in the Enabled column for active substitutions. This has been fixed. Note that If anything other than "Yes" or "True" is entered into the Enabled column on the spreadsheet, the substitution will be added as disabled. (D-11844, 1/17/2020)
  • Password/EULA/Settings Progress Numbers - When logging in to nVoq.Administrator the first time most users see three steps that must be completed before they can access the console: change password, accept EULA, and update settings. These steps are enumerated and each numeral should be highlighted when the user is completing that step. This was not happening, and the step "1" numeral would remain highlighted in blue throughout the process. This has been fixed. (D-11860, 1/17/2020)
  • Dialog Boxes Remain Open After Session Timeout - Dialog boxes, such as those for HTML shortcut components or delete confirmations, were staying open after the user is taken back to the login screen due to a session timeout. This has been fixed and the dialog boxes no longer stay open once the user is on the login screen. (D-11813, 1/17/2020)
  • Inaccurate Counts on Shortcut & Substitution Upload - In shortcut and substitution uploads the number of rows in the file were counted to determine the number of shortcuts or substitutions in the uploaded file. Both workflow shortcuts and regular expression substitutions can span multiple lines, making this count much higher than it should be. The process for counting the number of elements in the upload file has been fixed so that the number of total shortcuts or substitutions is accurate. (D-11829, 1/20/2020)
  • Inability to Remove Client Access from Admin Account - Removing client access from an account that has both Client Access and and Admin Role does not take effect even though the user is presented with a green success message. The account still shows as having client access in the list view and in the edit view. However, the subscription plan is removed. This has been fixed. Client Access is removed successfully in 15.1. (D-11856, 1/28/2020)
  • Accuracy Percentages Not Appearing on Review & Correct List View - In the 15.0 release, neither the Original Transcript Accuracy nor the Substitution Transcript Accuracy show up for corrected dictations in the Review & Correct page list view. You can see the accuracy percentages on the Detail screen if you open the dictation. This has been fixed in 15.1. (D-11859, 1/30/2020)
  • Expand Folder View in Shortcut List - You can now click on the arrow next to a folder name in the shortcut list to view shortcuts inside the folder on the Shortcuts page. Shortcuts inside a folder appear with their name indented in the Name column.  Shortcuts can be removed from the folder from this view, but no other actions can be taken with them. (B-15266, 2/6/2020)
  • Wrong File Name for Client-Only User Shortcut Download - When signing in to nVoq.Administrator as a client-only user you can download your own shortcuts on the Shortcuts page. This file was incorrectly named shortcutOrganizationAll.csv instead of shortcutAccountAll.csv. This has been fixed.  (D-11827, 2/13/2020)
  • Shortcut Upload Not Honoring "False"/"No" Visible Setting - When a CSV file of shortcuts was uploaded to an account, the setting of "False" or "No" in the Visible column on the spreadsheet was not being honored in the account to which the shortcuts were uploaded, making the shortcut visible in the popup menu. The work around was to manually update the shortcut on the Options tab after uploading to an account. This has been fixed. Now when uploading a spreadsheet with "False" or "No" in the Visible column to an account, the shortcut will still be Visible = No after upload. Note: This was not happening when uploading to an organization. (D-11914, 2/26/2020)
  • Voice Enabled Shortcut Property Cannot Be Disabled for New Shortcuts - In nVoq.Administrator the "Voice Enabled" toggle is set to enabled by default and is grayed out and and cannot be changed when creating a new shortcut. This has been fixed in 15.1. The "Voice Enabled" property is still enabled by default, but can be changed if the"Visible in My Shortcuts" property is disabled (off). As long as the "Visible in My Shortcuts" is enabled (on), the "Visible property is still enabled and cannot be changed. (D-11961,4/2/2020)
  • Long Usernames Cut Off - Usernames in the Username column on the Accounts page and in the Reviewed By column on the Review & Correct page were being cut off if they were too long. This has been fixed. (D-11695, D-11952, 4/9/2020)
  • Dictation Audio Downloaded in Same Format as Uploaded - On the Review & Correct page in the Detail window, clicking the Download Audio link will always download dictation audio as .ogg format, even if it was submitted as .wav format (using the API).  This has been fixed. The mime type is now saved, and audio uploaded as .wav can be downloaded as .wav. (D-11945, 4/16/2020)

Features in SayIt Administrator that are NOT in nVoq.Administrator

  • Cloning Between Tenants - In nVoq.Administrator there is no way to clone an organization in one tenant and save it in another tenant. In SayIt Administrator SYSTEM level administrators can do this.  (B-14972, 1/29/2020)
  • Read Only System Administrators - The "Read Only" access level for administrators with SYSTEM level access does not exist in nVoq.Administrator. (B-15341, 1/29/2020)
  • Account Notification (Account Messaging) - The Account Notification feature (which was to be called Account Messaging in nVoq.Administrator) is being retired. This feature allowed administrators to create and send messages via the voice client to users who are logged in to it. The Account Notification page in nVoq.Administrator, which was not functional, has been removed from the sidebar. (B-15504, 4/10/2020)

New Features & Improvements in Shortcut Designer

  • Shortcut Designer Uses Updated ID Naming Convention in API - In the 15.0 release our APIs were updated to increase consistency in the use of names for entity IDs instead of using several different terms. In 15.1 Shortcut Designer has been updated to use "id" instead of "quickNoteId" in the shortcut APIs that it uses. (B-15313, 4/23/2020)

Bug Fixes in Shortcut Designer

  • Dropping HTML Components into Name and Description Fields - HTML design and output components can be be dropped into the Name and Description text fields, and then you have to manually delete all of the text from those components out of those fields. This has been fixed. In 15.1 you can no longer drop these components into these fields. (D-11635, 1/16/2020)'
  • Save Button Remains Disabled when Adding a Deleted Alternative Name for Shortcut - If you remove a shortcut's Alternative Name and save the shortcut, but then go back and add the same Alternative Name, the Save button does not become enabled (effectively cannot Save the changes just made). As a work-around, you can navigate to the Home screen and then re-open the shortcut and add the Alternative Name. This has been fixed in 15.1. The save button will now be enabled and the shortcut can be successfully saved. (D-11391, 1/16/2020)
