Accuracy - General
Dictionary Cleanup- Cleanup work of the dictionary continues. This effort involves removing nonsensical words, correcting misspelled words and improving pronunciations of existing words. (B-17464)
New drugs/devices- Corpus and dictionary support for new drugs and medical devices from FDA from January through March 2024 has been added. (B-17470, B-17598)
Drugs- Improved pronunciation and casing of brand name and generic drugs in the dictionary and corpus (B-17467, B-17466)
I am- Work was done to improve the recognition of "I am,” reducing the chance that the contracted form "I'm" returns instead. (B-17504)
4 or for- Changes have been made to improve the recognition of the number "4" and the word "for". (B-16345)
And/In- Based on a review of corrections made for 2023 dictations, we identified that the misrecognition of "and" as "in" is an issue impacting many users. We added extra corpus support for the following phrases that contain "in" so dictations spoken with these phrases should now return correctly. (B-17482)

Foreign Spelling Clean up- We identified 1400+ words in the dictionary and corpus that had UK spelling (i.e. favourite, theatre). We have changed them to US English spelling. (B-17390)
Homonym Cleanup- Casing and spelling of words that have the same pronunciations (homonyms) were fixed in both the dictionary and corpus. (B-17512)
2024- Extra corpus support was added for the year “2024” so it returns correctly. (D-13488)
2/to/too- Extra corpus support was added for common phrases where to, too or 2 was returning incorrectly. Existing corpus containing incorrect usage of these homophones was also cleaned up. (B-16407)
