Topic Update: 08-18-2022

Accuracy - General

• Previous Field -  In the last topics release, we added extra support for the phrase "previous field" to the Radiology topic only. This phrase has now been strengthened across all topics. (B-16805)
• Dictionary Cleanup- Cleanup work of the dictionary continues.  This effort involves removing nonsensical words as well as improving phonetic representations of existing words. (B-16399)
• New drugs/devices- Corpus and dictionary support for new drugs and medical devices (from FDA) for July 2022 has been added. (B-16807)
• Dollars - Fixed an issue where the word "dollars" was returning when "about" was spoken before the dollar amount. After the fix the $ symbol returns. For example "about 8000 dollars" now returns as "about $8000" (D-13001)
  

Accuracy - General Medicine

• Tendinopathy - fixed dictionary and corpus so that "tendinopathy" returns instead of the misspelled word "tendonopathy" (D-13002)
• Post Acute Care Corrections -  Corrected transcripts for select dictations reviewed during July 2022 have been added to the corpus material. New words found in these corrections have been added to the dictionary. (B-16809)

Accuracy - Orthopedics

• Talar Fracture - Added extra support for "talar fracture" so that this phrase returns instead of "Taylor fracture." Fixed cases where "Taylor" was in corpus incorrectly. (D-12986)

Accuracy - Veterinary

• tarsus - Cleaned up corpus to fix issue where capitalized "Tarsus" was returning instead of in lower case. (D-13003)
