Topic Update: 12-17-2021

Accuracy - General

• General topic improvements -  Corrected transcripts from select dictations for September and October 2021 have been added to the corpus material for the appropriate topics. New words found in these corrections have been added to the dictionary. (B-16196, B-16146)
• New drug/device names - Support for new drugs and medical devices (from FDA) for September and October 2021 has been added to the dictionary and corpus material across all topics. (B-16326, B-16195)
• Double I - Removed occurrences of "I I" from all topics so "I" only returns once when spoken. (D-12832)
• Dictionary Cleanup- Cleanup work of the dictionary continues.  This effort involves removing nonsensical words as well as improving phonetic representations of existing words. (B-16321)
• Names - Added support for 200 of the most common proper names so that they and their possesive forms return correctly (B-16358) 

Accuracy - Behavioral Health

• WAIS-IV-  The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, 4th Edition (WAIS-IV) has been fixed to return correctly. (D-12725) 

Accuracy - General Medicine

• Patted dry - "Patted dry" returned as "padded dry." This issue has been fixed. (D-12790)
• Period -  Fixed a case where the punctuation mark "." returned instead of the word "period." (D-12735)
• Lower case possessive names - Fixed the casing so that "Mary's" and "Mathew's" return capitalized. (D-12786)
• Possessive Pronoun - Fixed a case where "there" returned instead of "their" (D-12793)
• For and To - Added extra support for some samples so that "for" and "to" return instead of the numbers "4" and "2." (D-12784)
• No one - Added extra support for some samples containing the words "no one"  so that the words return correctly instead of "no 1". (D-12799)
• 2021 - Added additional support for a sample where "2021" returned as "2020 one." (D-12818)
• Comma Punctuation - Added extra support for some samples where the punctuation mark "," was not transcribed although clearly spoken. (D-12712) 

Accuracy - Pathology

• Gleason Scores - Added support for Gleason scores with spacing between symbols and numbers. (D-12802) 
• N numbers - Added support for formatting returns for N followed by a number (N0-N11). (D-12809)
