We have improved the probability of the changes listed below returning accurately.
If you find that specific terms are not still working correctly after a topic release, we recommend adding vocabulary and/or substitutions to improve recognition. Additionally, transcripts in which words are not recognized accurately should be corrected so we can harvest them each month and add them to the appropriate topic's corpus.
Accuracy - General
New Drugs Support – (S-18147; 20250604) Corpus and dictionary support for new drugs approved by the FDA in March 2025 has been added.
Corrections added to Topics – (S-17814; 20250609) Corrected transcripts that were submitted during April 2025 have been added to their corresponding Topic's corpus. New words found in these corrections have been added to the dictionary.
Dictionary Clean up – ( S-18143; 20250613) Removed words from dictionary that did not exist in any topics' corpus. These words will no longer return.
Accuracy - Pathology
Number Ranges – (D-13803; 20250605) When a number range is spoken in the format "two dash <number>" (where <number> is between one and twenty), the system now more accurately returns it as "2-<number>". Previously, the letter "A" would sometimes return after the first number, especially if the speaker took a sharp inhale or exhale after saying it. For example, "2A-5" would be return instead of "2-5".
Accuracy - Radiology
Period Punctuation – (D-13807; 20250617) Additional support has been added to address cases where the word "period" was incorrectly returned instead of the punctuation mark ".". Please note that this fix does not resolve all instances of this issue.
Non Radiology Terms – (S-18260; 20250617) The occurrence of non-radiology terms appearing within the Radiology topic has been significantly reduced.
